The 2026 Ford Edge is not available in the US market, as Ford discontinued the model after the 2024 model year. The Edge occupied the midsize crossover SUV segment with a five-door body style, seating for five passengers, and cargo space that increased when the rear seats were folded. It was positioned alongside competitors including the Nissan Murano, Chevrolet Blazer, and Hyundai Santa Fe. The architecture remained unchanged through the final years without a redesign or major refresh. The standard configuration included front-wheel drive paired with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine rated at 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive was optional, and a 2.7-liter V6 engine was offered on select higher trims.

The Edge included the SYNC 4 infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen that supported wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, over-the-air updates, embedded navigation, and voice-activated controls for calls, media, and climate settings. BlueCruise hands-free highway driving was available on certain trims, complemented by standard safety features such as automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors. The FordPass app enabled remote engine start, fuel level monitoring, vehicle location, and service scheduling. Additional connected services, including a Wi-Fi hotspot and premium navigation, were accessible through subscriptions.
