The 2026 Genesis G70 is a rear-wheel-drive compact luxury sport sedan. It competes with models such as the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4. The 2026 model largely carries over from the 2024 refresh, with updates including the new Prestige Graphite trim, Capri Blue paint option, and revised features on upper trims. The standard powertrain features a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four engine producing 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available, as is a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 engine with 365 horsepower on select models.

The infotainment system uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen supporting navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice commands, and media streaming. For 2026, the system remains from the prior update, with heated steering wheels standard on AWD-equipped 2.5T trims and surround-view cameras available on higher trims. Genesis Connected Services connect through the MyGenesis mobile app for vehicle status monitoring, remote start capability, and over-the-air software and map updates during the initial complimentary period, followed by optional subscriptions.
