The 2026 GMC Acadia is a midsize three-row SUV with seating for up to eight passengers, providing substantial interior space and cargo versatility. It competes in the same segment as the Chevrolet Traverse, Kia Telluride, and Hyundai Palisade. This model year carries over the platform from the recent redesign, which enlarged the vehicle and improved its capabilities. Trims include Elevation, AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. All models use a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four engine rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission; front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive optional across the lineup.

The cabin includes a 15-inch Premium GMC infotainment touchscreen with Google built-in compatibility for navigation and apps, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; a Bose 12-speaker system is optional. Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance is available on select trims for compatible highways, utilizing cameras and radar and requiring an OnStar subscription. More than 15 standard driver-assistance features cover automatic emergency braking, blind-zone steering assist, forward collision alert, and HD surround vision, while upper trims add an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and head-up display. The myGMC app supports remote start, lock/unlock, and status monitoring, complemented by OnStar services and over-the-air software updates.
