The 2026 GMC Savana is a full-size van available in cargo and passenger configurations. Passenger models seat up to 15 in extended-wheelbase versions and offer a maximum towing capacity of 9,600 pounds. It is compared to the mechanically similar Chevrolet Express, the Ford Transit, and the Ram ProMaster. The 2026 model carries over from prior years with minor styling additions such as chrome appearance packages and retains the body-on-frame construction. The standard powertrain features rear-wheel drive, a 4.3-liter V6 engine with 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. An optional 6.6-liter V8 engine is available.

The GMC Infotainment System includes Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear vision camera displayed in the rearview mirror. Driver assistance is limited to StabiliTrak stability control. The myGMC app provides remote diagnostics, door locking, and service scheduling. OnStar offers connected services including theft alerts. Over-the-air software updates are available, with some features requiring an active subscription.
