The 2026 Jeep Recon is a midsize electric off-road SUV that is Trail Rated, with a boxy design that seats five passengers. This model introduces a new design for 2026 as Jeep's second dedicated battery-electric SUV following the Wagoneer S. It uses a dedicated EV platform with unibody construction for off-road performance and towing capacity up to 3,300 pounds when equipped. The powertrain consists of a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 650 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque from a 100.5-kWh battery pack, with an EPA-estimated range of 230 miles in the Moab trim.

The Recon features the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 14.5-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital driver display. These support wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa voice control, TomTom navigation with Dynamic Range Mapping, SiriusXM radio, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Off-road displays include pitch and roll gauges along with state-of-charge predictions for trails. It offers more than 170 standard safety features, such as Level 2 hands-free active driving assistance, Rough Road Cruise Control, pedestrian emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system with washer. Connected services include the Jeep mobile app for maintenance scheduling, roadside assistance, and notifications, the Trails Offroad app for navigation, and the Free2move app for charger location and payment.
