The 2026 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a compact luxury sedan with a four-door body style, seating for five passengers, and rear-wheel-drive layout. It competes in the segment against models such as the BMW 3 Series, Genesis G70, and Audi A4. This model year brings a mid-cycle update to the platform introduced in 2022, including minor exterior styling changes, new wheel designs and package options, and updated interior materials. The base C 300 model features a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mild-hybrid engine producing 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive standard; 4MATIC all-wheel drive is available at no extra cost.

The C-Class comes standard with the third-generation MBUX infotainment system, featuring an 11.9-inch portrait-orientation touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. These support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation with augmented reality views, and 'Hey Mercedes' voice commands for climate control, media, and routes. Additional functions include multiple user profiles that sync across vehicles, Routines that adjust settings by time or location, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. For 2026, MBUX Entertainment Plus is offered on Pinnacle trims with streaming and gaming capabilities, and a surround-view camera system is available as a standalone option. The Mercedes-Benz app enables remote lock/unlock, vehicle location, and preference settings, supported by over-the-air software updates for features and maps; navigation services require subscriptions after the trial period.
