The 2026 Toyota Tundra is a full-size body-on-frame pickup truck with a maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds. It is available in CrewMax and Double Cab configurations paired with 5.5-, 6.5-, or 8.1-foot beds. It competes with models such as the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and Ram 1500. This model year brings a mid-cycle update to the third-generation Tundra that launched in 2022, including revisions to exterior styling, interior materials, a 32.2-gallon fuel tank standard on all models, and mechanical adjustments, without a full redesign. The standard powertrain features a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 i-FORCE engine rated at 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission in rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive configurations. An i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain is also available.

The Tundra employs Toyota's Audio Multimedia infotainment system, offered with a 14-inch touchscreen that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, plus native navigation, Spotify, SiriusXM, and weather applications. AT&T 5G provides connectivity, accompanied by an updated voice assistant. Updates for 2026 encompass an improved multimedia interface with quicker responses, streamlined logins, and standard Drive Recorder functionality via built-in cameras. The Toyota app enables vehicle health checks, remote door lock/unlock, engine start, and service appointments during the connected services trial period. Post-trial, subscriptions cover additional features such as Wi-Fi hotspots and enhanced remote capabilities, with over-the-air updates maintaining current software.
